Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) was launched nationwide in October 1987 to connect and unite individuals and organizations working on domestic violence issues while raising awareness for those issues.

Join Friendship Home as we “Take a Stand” against domestic violence.  We will be remembering those who have been victims of domestic violence, celebrating survivors of domestic violence, and working to end the cycle of abuse.

To learn more about how you can “Take A Stand” visit our Domestic Violence Awareness Month page.
