Friendship Home is excited to announce that we are partnering with Safe Shelter Collaborative and will utilize the app they have created called SafeNight.
SafeNight allows individual donors to support Friendship Home in a creative and unique way. You can donate funds that will support hotel nights for survivors.
After a resident is placed in a hotel from their emergency stay, Friendship Home will post a need to the SafeNight app that will then notify donors that a safe night of shelter is being requested.
Using the SafeNight mobile app, you can make a secure tax-deductible donation in the designated amounts once the need has been posted by Friendship Home.
Here is how it works:
- Download the SafeNight app at www.safenightapp.org, or search for the SafeNight app in the Apple or Google Play store.
- From your profile, select Nebraska as your state and Friendship Home as your beneficiary agency.
- You will receive an alert from Friendship Home when a survivor needs shelter. Consider making a tax-deductible donation in the amount of our request to sponsor a safe night.
*Please Note* SafeNight is a new app and we are aware there are a few kinks that need to be worked out and we are in the process of getting those resolved.
