Wellbeing Coordinator
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Wage: $24.00-$25.00/hour
Overview: The wellbeing coordinator provides support and advocacy services designed to empower residents and children who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The wellbeing coordinator will help clients develop an individualized care plan for access to medical and dental care in their community. They will also play a vital role in ensuring the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of staff.
Accountability: Reports to the Program Director
Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and community health care resources and referrals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experience in crisis management and supporting staff in high-stress environments. Ability to handle multiple job duties, flexibility in responding to unique situations. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
Education and Work Experience: A degree in Human Services or a health care-related field is preferred. A thorough understanding of domestic violence is required. At least 3 years of experience in a position requiring a high degree of independent judgment and problem solving.

Facilities Assistant
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: 30 hours/week
Wage: $20.00 an hour
Summary:
To oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of the shelter buildings and grounds.
Accountability: Reports to Facilities Coordinator. Supervises Volunteers in area of expertise.
Knowledge and Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple job duties. Knowledge of domestic violence is helpful. Ability to stand, climb stairs and step stools, walk, move quickly, bend, and stoop for long periods of time. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Education and Work Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years’ experience in building maintenance is desired.
