Help us STUFF THE BUS on Saturday, April 12th & Sunday, April 13th!
Stuff the Bus, in partnership with StarTran and Alpha Media radio stations, was started 26 years ago to raise awareness and provide needed items to Friendship Home. Stuff the Bus has grown into a vital event for Friendship Home. We are grateful to offer a unique way to community members to become involved with our mission and help supply items for those we serve by simply picking up an extra item or two when doing their routine shopping.
Volunteers will be outside all Lincoln Walmart and Sam’s Clubs on Saturday, April 12th, and Sunday, April 13th, passing out needs lists and stuffing the bus! Volunteers will be present from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. Needs lists are filled with various items and are handed to shoppers interested in lending a hand. Some of the most needed items include laundry detergent, comforters & sheet sets, ethnic hair care products, and gift cards.
Community volunteers make Stuff the Bus a success. Over 250 volunteers are needed throughout the weekend. Stuff the Bus is a family-friendly event, and we encourage you to sign up with your family members, friends, and co-workers. We welcome all ages!
