Executive Director to Retire

February 11, 2022

As President of the Board for Friendship Home, it is with great gratitude that I wish our outgoing Executive Director, Amy Evans, a well-earned and peace filled retirement. Amy’s 35-year tenure with Friendship Home has been nothing short of transformational. Her compassion for the mission, ability to forge strong partnerships and strategic skill has expanded the capacity, footprint, and impact of the organization in an extraordinary way.

Amy Evans will stay in the role of Executive Director Emeritus, advising me until end of March. The Friendship Home Board of Directors appointed Amila Tanovic-Muslic, Friendship Home’s long time Finance Director, as Interim Executive Director.

Kathy Griesel, President
Friendship Home Board of Directors
