On October 23, Friendship Home hosted our inaugural Illuminate: Hope Shines Here fundraising event. This was a night that brought our community together in support of those facing domestic violence.
Highlights from the evening included:
- Over 150 guests joining us for heavy hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a powerful message from our Executive Director, Program Director, and Board President.
- A live auction, featuring unique experiences like a Husker Staycation and a trip to Disney World – auction winners went home with some impressive items.
- Recognition of our sponsors and donors, who generosity made the night possible
Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Illuminate not only raised crucial funds to support Friendship Home’s programs but also strengthen the bonds that allow us to provide confidential, safe, emergency shelter and services to those facing domestic violence. We are thrilled to announce that Illuminate raise over $115,000!
