Donate Goods

Every day our emergency shelter and transitional homes are full with victims of domestic violence and their children who are trying desperately to cope with their new reality.  It is at this time each year our concerns for their safety and well-being include how to ensure they can also share in the joys of the season.  If you would like to help us in creating hope for the future, to reassure children the warmth of the holidays, and be a source of inspiration for those who are trying to rebuild their lives; then please contact Rainey our Intern/Volunteer Coordinator at raineyk@friendshiphome.org or call her at 402-437-9367.

You can also click on our Current Needs List below that addresses some of our prevailing needs.  You may wish to support families in a different way, such as food and gift cards, and/or passes to the movies, or even the zoo. You may also simply select items from the wish-list and we will use those gifts for families who come into shelter close to the holidays and may not have a sponsor.

The Friendship Home wishes you and yours a joyous, peace-filled holiday season as we all join in empowering freedom from domestic violence.

The Friendship Home’s mission is to support, shelter and advocate for victims of Domestic Violence and their children. We do this through emergency shelter, crisis services and rebuilding lives.  We hope you will understand that although donations of used items can be valuable support from our donors, space limitations at our Service Center and in our Shelters do not allow for us to store used items. We ask that if you have used items to donate that you contact the below resources.
