The Following positions are available.

Bilingual Case Manager (Serving Latina Women and their Children)

40 hours/week (Hours may fluctuate depending on shelter needs)

Sunday: 3:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday: 3:00 to 11:00 p.m.

Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 pm.

Friday: Off

Saturday: Off

Requirements:

Fluent in both Spanish and English.
Thorough understanding of domestic violence.
At least 1 year of experience in a position requiring a high degree of independent judgment, problem solving, or case management experience.
Degree in Human Services or related field desired. Experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.

Summary: To act as a team leader in overseeing and coordinating the delivery of service to women and their children before, during and after shelter. Create and build trusting relationships with the Latina community.

Accountability: Reports to Program Coordinator.

Knowledge and Skills: Must be bilingual (fluent in reading and writing) in both Spanish and English. Ability to work with and advocate for individuals with diverse backgrounds and diverse points of view. Must have demonstrated oral and written communication skills, flexibility in responding to unique situations, and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have knowledge of the unique issues faced by Latinas including knowledge of the racial, cultural, historical, economic oppression faced by the Hispanic community and specifically by Latinas.

Education and Work Experience: A degree in Human Services or related field preferred. At least 2 years experience providing direct services in the human services field desired.
